A&S Chemie was founded 2001 als a high-tech start-up corporation. A&S Chemie mostly develops innovative polymer coatings for the application as dry lubricants on industrial materials.
Our goals are:
Multifunctional Hybrid-Layers
When coating polymeric multifunctional hybrid-layers on surfaces, e.g.metals, glasses and plastic, many functional properties
of the coating can be transfered to the industrial material. Due to their homogeitiy and smoothness extended temperature
stability, stability towards abrase, pressure stableness, lubricant effects and passivation of the surface can be achieved.
Sensor Applications
Multifunktional hybrid-layers can serve for the sensor technology: combinations of functional polymers reversibly absorb analysts on molecular level. As result from earlier work by Prof. Hanack and other collaborating groups of the University Tübingen A&S Chemie has broard access to novel compound databases and newly synthesized materials for sensors.
Spectroscopy Services
Using state-of-the-art in-house analytical methods and systems, e.g. Nuclear Magnetic Resonance- (NMR), Infrared- (FT-IR), Ultraviolett- (UV), mass-spectroscopy (MS), and various microscopy methods A&S Chemie can offer cost-efficient and precise characertization and quality assessment services of materials.
